Betty Carter CD/LP

This CD/2-LP package for The Music Never Stops celebrates jazz vocalist and trailblazer Betty Carter with a live recording from 1992. To capture the spirit of the era, we staged a photoshoot in a mixing studio with archival notes and documents from the original show, plus the physical tape masters. The photos were scanned from slides, and the artifacts and dust lent a raw quality that reflected the style of Carter’s live performance. From here, we created an integrated marketing campaign for the album.
