Yo-Yo Ma & Emanuel Ax – “Hope Amid Tears”
A long-storied pairing in classical music, Yo-Yo Ma and Manny Ax reunited during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic to record this GRAMMY-nominated album together. I was asked to complete the package design and identity for this 3 CD release through Sony Masterworks. Working with lush photography from Lawrence Sumulong, the digipak and booklet naturally lent itself to celebrating these world-class musicians.
